Hey guys! Who is ready for 2017 to start? I know I am - I have lots coming my way and the only way to be sure I'm ready for it is to use a planner! I have had 2 Erin Condren Life Planners in the past and love them. The first one I ever tried was a vertical layout. Then I tried the hourly which was great but this year (2017) I went back to the vertical layout.
It's honestly a personal preference and your planning style that will determine which layout you decide on. The vertical works for me and what I need it for (personal, work, blog). There are also a number of different cover styles and designs you can choose from. I chose one this time that was bright and in my favorite shades of blue and green. I also love the saying on the front, "Do what you love, love what you do."
I also decided to just get my name on the front. In the past, I've put my blog name as well. I just kept it simple for now.
I already started putting stickers in my planner. I started with January 1 because...well, it IS the first day of the year. Don't you love how cute these stickers are? In the next few pictures, I'll talk about some of my favorite Etsy sticker shops. You'll want a planner JUST to have some of these stickers!
I've gone ahead and set up the first 3 weeks in January. The stickers that I used for the first 2 spreads come from a shop called My Newest Addiction. She's also a fellow beauty blogger and I absolutely love her shop. She has created so many amazing sets that it's hard to keep up! She also has a group on FB which makes it easier to stay up to date with all of her amazing creations.
My third spread is an oldie but goodie from Creating&Co on Etsy. Her kits are also so adorable, colorful, and creative. I seriously wish I could start my own sticker business. I'd be a creating machine! The things these girls come up with is just amazing! I have to do some stocking up on Paige's kits soon!
When I bought my Life Planner for 2017 I also thought it would be fun to get some note cards. I got some birthday themed ones and some generic note cards. Both have my name in the signature area and both are very sturdy cardstock.
There is a sale going on now sitewide for both Life Planners and stationery so get a move on if you want a steal! I also have a referral link that gives you $10 to use on your very first purchase. You must be a new customer to be able to receive it - let me tell you, it's so worth it! CLICK HERE to sign up!
Are you a planner? Which one(s) do you own and which is your favorite? I have never ventured away from Erin Condren but I think it's because it just works for me. Let me know your thoughts and some of your favorite Etsy sticker shops! A few others I have purchased from are: TheSweetPaperCo, StationeryHeavenCo, and Stickeriffic.

I'm not into planning myself but its always fun to see what other people's planners look like.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute planner! I could see that it would be a lot of fun to use
ReplyDeleteMy first planner was the ECLP, but I now use a refillable personal sized Kikki K and just get inserts from an Etsy shop. I found that the ECLP was just too big, and I couldn't customize it as much as I wanted. I was able to have sections in my Kikki for bill/finance tracking, my blog stats(when I still blogged), and meal planning. Plus I loved making my own dividers :)
ReplyDeleteI bought one of these too, but in a more gothic theme.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a planner because I think I'd be so busy buying the extras that I wouldn't get proper use out of it. They sound so wonderful though.
ReplyDeleteI really need a new planner and I keep going back and forth between doing another Happy Planner and trying the Erin Condren. I just don't know. Your planner is really cute and is kind of swaying me...
