Salon Perfect Neon Pop - Part 1
Monday, August 04, 2014
Hey friends and happy Monday! It's kinda gloomy out today in my neck of the woods but these neon polishes are aren't! Today I am posting part 1 of my review on some of the Salon Perfect Neon Pop polishes for this summer.
Fired Up Fuchsia is a seriously bright hot pink. I applied 2 coats of this, and a layer of Salon Perfect top coat. It's pretty opaque like this which I love.
Here is Traffic Cone - the name couldn't be more perfect! Again, I applied 2 even coats and top coat for this. You definitely need the top coat because, as most neons are, you end up with a matte finish. These definitely POP more with a layer of top coat. I simply LOVE this for summer!
Yowza Yellow is your typical neon yellow shade. I had to apply 3 coats for this to become opaque but there are still some spots that could be filled in a bit more. The layers I applied weren't too thick so you're not going to end up with a lot of polish on your nails. The top coat also helps the color to even out on your nails too.
Loopy Lime is sort of a subdued neon shade with a nice hint of shimmer. I am SO in love with this color - I can't even stand it! This is definitely one of my favorite shades from this collection so far. This applied so beautifully in 2 coats and with the layer of top coat it just shines!
Last for today is called Haute Pink. As with most neon pink shades, it shows up almost red on camera. I can barely look at my post while I'm writing this because it's so bright, haha. This one is also a 2-coat polish and a layer of top coat.
