JulieG Cruise Time Collection - Swatches & Review

FINALLY!!! I have these ready for you!!! I got these the weekend I moved into my new house and I broke two nails. I have been waiting for those suckers to grow out enough to swatch these beauties for you! Of course you know I love all of my JulieG polishes and I get really excited when they come out with new collections. Look at their limited edition Cruise Time collection!
When I saw these, I was like O__O!!! Look at how juicy these colors are. They are perfect for summer and you better believe I'll be doing some nail art with these. Onto basic swatches for now though! All of these swatches are 2 coats and topped with JulieG Jet Set top coat.
Miami Beach is a super bright hot pink color that's SO bright it turns red on camera! I will never get tired of bright cream polishes like this. They are good for manis, of course, but they add such a pop of color to any nail art design. Whenever I do nail art, I always find myself gravitating towards my JulieG polish drawer. =)
Old San Juan is a peachy tangerine cream that just makes me want a tropical smoothie on the spot! Doesn't this just look so juicy?!
Canary Islands is a creamy yellow polish that I SWEAR smelled like bananas as I was applying it. Of course it doesn't, but maybe I was just dreaming about being on vacation. Yellows are super tricky but with 2 coats of this, you get a flawless opaque look. First coat is a little streaky but the 2nd coat completely takes care of it!
There is more to this polish that meets the eye! You might think this collection is all creams right? NO! Look at this subtle shimmer in Tahiti! Not only is it sea-foamy-mint green but it sparkles! I absolutely love that this one is just a bit different from the rest!
Santorini is a gorgeous sky blue with a hint of shimmer in it. I think this is my favorite color of the collection. Of course, I am a blue fan all the way but this one is just....AHH!
Out of all of the polishes in this collection, Rio de Janeiro seemed to be the easiest to apply. I'm not really sure why but it seemed like a thinner formula. If you want to get into tropical mode, definitely throw this on your nails. I love how bright this can get in the sun. In normal daylight, it does show a little darker but it's still gorgeous!

These are lovely! Perfect shades for the season.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these! Especially Santorini :) I don't have a Rite Aid near me so I'll have to see if they're still online. Great swatches!
