Revlon Parfumerie Polish
Thursday, March 20, 2014
Hey all! Today's post is all about these AMAZING Revlon Parfumerie polishes! I need to start a YT series or a blog series called Glow of Grace Made Me Buy It! My friend Rachel from Glow of Grace had posted a pic of one of these polishes on her Instagram and said it was great! Pretty soon after that post I went to my local Walgreens. They were BOGO 50% off at $5.99 each, and THEN I had a $1 off Revlon polish Walgreens coupon that took $1 off EACH! Good lawdy, my total for these was only $15!
The 4 I picked up were colors I'd wear this Spring. Fresh Linen, Pink Pineapple, Lavender Soap, and Apricot Nectar.
Firs up is Fresh Linen. This is the one Rachel posted. I asked her if it really smelled like it and she said yes. She was right, duh! It smells like really clean clothes, haha. It isn't too strong or "artificial" and the scne t stays with you for a while. I had to use 4 thin coats of polish to get rid of streaks and bare spots. For formula isn't the best, but I really do like it.
Pink Pineapple is probably one of my favorites! It's so sweet smelling and very enjoyable. Again, application was a bust, but it looks really nice. Just 4 thin coats and you've got a great mani! It doesn't feel thick on your nail though, so don't worry!
Lavender Soap smells like...lavender SOAP! It legit smells like soap, but not super soapy...does that make sense? It's not just a lavender scent. It is certainly interesting. I definitely recommend checking this out. Again, 4 coats for even coverage.
Finally, Apricot Nectar, my 2nd favorite! I love the color and I love the fruity smell! Can ya guess? Yup, 4 coats! Like Rachel said when she posted hers with the linen one...not really the ideal formula, but it's good enough to buy and wear because it's really awesome.
So...I say go pick up some at your local drugstore! Look out for sales and if you go to Walgreens, pick up that huge coupon book at the front of the store where the ads are. You never know what kind of excellent coupons you'll find!

DeleteI wish we had smell-o-net! 4 coats is a little much for me - especially if I'm going to add nail art. Nice swatches, though!
ReplyDeleteYeaaaa......4 coats is kinda annoying....I imagine you could use a similar colored. I might do that next time.
