Lorac Pro To Go Palette
Tuesday, January 07, 2014
Hey guys! Today I have swatches and my thoughts on the Lorac Pro To Go Palette. This was a Christmas present from my husband. This was one of many items on my wish list [he asked for a variety, haha]. I'm actually SO happy that he bought this for me because it has been a palette that I've been lusting after for quite some time.
So, this palette contains 6 eye shadows, 2 blushes, a bronzer, and 2 mini brushes for application. The first time I used this was a couple of days after I received it. Let me just say...WOW.
Here are the 6 shadows that are included. As many of you probably know, the top row is shimmer shades and the bottom row is matte shades. The look I go for usually consists of:
Chai on the lid | Cafe in the crease and under Chai | Mink on the outer corner | Shell as a highlight | Black as a liner
The shimmer shades are incredible creamy and have an amazing color payoff. Same with the matte. You really only need a little bit on your brush to achieve any look from this palette. I did use the liner brush it came with to line my eyes with Black. It worked out better than I thought it would. The bristles are stiff enough to where it will create a nice crisp line anywhere you want. I only dipped the brush a few times in the shadow and it looked amazing.
Okay, so let's talk about these blushes. They are PERFECT! They aren't TOO pink-y, if you know what I mean. The color really builds and it looks good on my skin tone. The Coral color has a bit of shimmer in it and the Pink is matte. The Bronze bronzer shade is just dark enough to make a difference on my skin.
If you WANT to buy this palette, I know it's available at ULTA, but it's also on Amazon, which is where my hubby bought it for me. If you purchase at ULTA, make sure you use Ebates to get cash back on your purchase.
Check out my Instagram for a simple look using this palette. I LOVE how natural the makeup is.
Thanks for stopping by! I'll have a few more palette reviews coming up! Let me know if you're interested in a video tutorial [faux-torial] using this or any of the other palettes I'll be talking about!
