Hey, hey everyone! It's been a while - let me tell you...these past 15 months have been the BUSIEST ever! After my son was born, my entire life was consumed by my full time job and my babies. Now that my son is a little bit more independent and finally sleeping on his own throughout the night, I have more time to myself.
Let me begin by saying that our family absolutely LOVES the Happy Family brand. Since my daughter (who's now 3 1/2) was a baby, I have always purchased organic baby food and snacks straight into their toddler snacks.
I discovered the Happy Family brand through an in-depth shopping trip specifically for her transition into solid foods. Between both of my kids - their favorites are the pouches because they can take them anywhere. We reserve jars for home and one of the best uses for the jars that I found was to mix half a jar with their oatmeal. It added flavor and sweetness to an otherwise boring bowl of oatmeal. Perks? They are organic, non-GMO, and you can clearly see what you're getting.
As you can seem we definitely stock up on things - the kids have their own shelf in the pantry and will pick and choose what they want. I absolutely LOVE the colorful packaging because it's very enticing to my kids and it stands out on the shelf in the stores. I purchase all of my Happy Family products at my local Publix but they can also be found at Walgreens - they have cool store locator tool which tells you exactly what products are available. It's the perfect tool for the very busy parent!
The variety of these Clearly Crafted jars is quite impressive and proves to be tasty for my kids. Who doesn't love strawberries and banana? I thought the banana and sweet potato combination was pretty interesting. What do your kids love? I always taste everything I give m kids. If it passes my taste test, I know it's going to be good for them!
My son is a very independent eater but sometimes he just wants to be catered to - I have no problem with that. I do miss my babies being babies and if he's having a rough day, I'll just feed him all day long. I'm pretty sure the strawberry and banana combo is one of his favorites. It's one of mine for sure. Can I let you in on a little secret? I'd totally eat one of these jars as a snack if it wasn't so crazy to think about. I keep some jars in the fridge and some in the pantry - just depends on what I'm using them for.
Wanna know one of the cool things I use jar food for? I make these little frozen dots for when my little guy is teething. I line a small pan with parchment paper and spoon on bite-sized dots. I throw it into my deep freezer for several hours and when it's completely frozen, I store them in plastic freezer bags. Any time he needs something cold for his teeth, I give him a few of these and he's good! I can also trick my kids into thinking it's ice cream, ha!
Have you tried the Happy Family line of products? If not, I highly recommend them. We've been fans for a couple of years now and I will continue to support them as my littlest grows into toddlerhood.
