Hello everyone! I hope you can tell from the title that today's post is going to be mostly chatty as every's blogger's worst nightmare has been my reality - my nails broke! Yes, it's true - so while my nails are recovering, I thought I'd share some more tidbits of information with you as your friend, as your blogger buddy, and as your source for all things beauty and life. Okay - maybe not your ultimate source, but I feel like I provide you with a honest piece of my life, especially when it comes down to beauty products.

Jamberry | Kat Stays Polished

First and foremost, I try to be as open as I can about this whole Jamberry thing. If you read my blog post a couple months ago, you know I had issues with them and I gave up. It wasn't until I saw all the cute designs and an application process in person that I decided I wanted in. I knew that most of the manis I'd so with these wraps were going to be accent nails and since my blog was mostly about nails, it was perfect.

So, I ask you, my reader, what is your biggest Jamberry fear? Mine was honestly application but I think it takes a few tries to get it right. Trial and error - just like with some nail art techniques. Luckily, if you have a great consultant [ahem, me!], she'll show you how to apply the wraps, she'll send you plenty of sample to work with, and she'll encourage you to keep at it until you've gotten comfortable with it.
One thing I love about Jamberry is that their wraps are always Buy 3, Get 1 Free. Seriously, this has gotten me so many times. If you've got a friend who has the same (or different) tastes than you, you each get take advantage of this deal and trade half-sheets so you end up getting 8 designs for the price of 4! Each half-sheet is enough for at least 2 manis and 1 pedi.

So, if you're not into the wrap thing, Jamberry does have nail lacquers and they are pretty good quality. The neons are new for Spring but they have some other classic colors to choose from too.

Disney Collection by Jamberry - need I say more? These designs are going away on May 3 and Jamberry is releasing a whole new set really soon! Grab these while you can because they will be gone forever. My favorite is probably Sapphire Sea!

Last but not least, if you're afraid to buy, give it a try! Hosting a party costs nothing for you. If you have people who you think would be interested in anything Jamberry sells, host an online party with me! It's so easy, I do all the work, and you can earn FREE STUFF! If you decide to join my team, you can apply party points to your starter kit for up to 50% off!

So, have you learned anything new today? As I said in the beginning, this was a chatty informational post that hopefully got you at least thinking about Jamberry. I always keep my posts to once a week and I feel like I've offered up some really cool manis and combinations. Always feel free to ask me questions about anything and certainly let me know if you want a few samples to try! I'd be more than willing to help you out!

I hope you have an amazing day! Stay polished, my friends!

  2. My nails broke too when I was on vacation in super-dry Arizona. So sad. I haven't used wraps in a long time. I like to designs so I should give 'em another go!

  3. I just recently had a FB party with Kat, and it was seriously so much fun (even though I apparently have very few friends who actually respond to messages/invites/aren't nurses, lol)

My biggest fear with Jamberry was/is tip wear. It's tricky to get the tips/free edge to not peel up and catch on things, but after a few trial and error fixes, I've kind of gotten a handle on it.

My other fear was removal. I've tried other non-polish wraps that when I removed them, they took away some of the top layer of my nails with them, no matter how long I soaked with oils/acetone. With Jamberry the removal was much easier and the only damages I suffered were to my wallet lol

  7. I like looking at nail arts, I just don't have the patience and talent to do it for myself :-)

  8. I rarely do wraps, though I will try them from time to time. I just like painting my nails too much, and changing my polish often. It's too much effort to put on a wrap only to take it off after a day or so.

  9. I like the look of them, but don't do wraps. ANd I did feature them on my blog once - and the post turned into a rep battle of link dropping so people buy from them.
