JulieG Candy Shoppe Colors

Hi friends!!!!! I have such an exciting post for you guys today! It's the new JulieG polish collection - Candy Shoppe Colors! Just look at how bright and fun these shades are! What's even better is that they have this jelly bean finish. Not glossy, not matte...kinda makes you want to eat your nails. HA!
All of the swatches below are 2 thin coats and no top coat unless otherwise stated. The formula for all of these polishes is so syrupy. These are so easy to apply and I had such an easy time with almost every color. Let's get down to the swatches!
First up is Wild Cherry. This bright and yummy red is perfect for Spring and Summer! The polish dries pretty fast and if you want to mattify this shade even more, add the new JulieG Matte Top Coat (there will be a post on that later on).
Pixi Stick is a sweet pink shade that's sure to brighten up your day. I could eat pixi sticks all day long and this color seriously matches the pixi stick bag! One time, the drugstore had them on clearance and I bought 5 bags! What a sugar rush!
Candy Shop is a sweet orange shade. Doesn't it look so juicy? I feel like if you paired this with Tangerine Dream from the Frosted Gumdrops series you'd have a seriously delicious mani!
Lemon Drop is a nice yellow shade whose name reminded me of some pretty interesting bar outings where I had way too many lemon drop shots. We won't get into that right now. Because we're working with yellow, I had to use 3 coats instead of 2. It's a little patchy but overall not terrible. I applaud any polish company who can make a yellow shade work. I've not had too many issues with the yellow shades from JulieG.
Sour Apple is the perfect jelly bean green shade. I love biting into sour apple jelly beans and this color just SCREAMS jelly bean, doesn't it? I love how dark the color can get but at the same time, you can still see a little bit of my nail. Three coats of this would make it completely opaque if you wanted it to be.
I am a total blue fanatic and Sweet Tooth is such an amazing color. It actually reminds me of the blue that's comes in those rainbow ice cream flavors. Or like the icing in those birthday cake ice cream flavors. Again, I used 2 coats but if you wanted to make it completely opaque, add a 3rd coat.
Sour Grape is 1 of 2 purple shades in this collection. This one is lighter in color and more sheer. It does remind me of grape candies. I love the taste of that artificial grape flavor, haha. Anyone else in the same boat with me?
Lollipop is the 2nd purple shade and is slightly darker. This one is pretty opaque in 2 coats, but just like the other shades, add a 3rd and you're good to go!
Lastly we have Licorice Twist. I am not a fan of licorice at all, but I do love this shade. It's a nice break from the glossy black like Black Sheep. This is pretty opaque with 2 coats.
