Rimmel Primer and Foundation

I don't normally post about foundations or primer because honestly...I haven't found/bought too many items that actually work for my skin. Well, have I got a post for you! A couple of weeks ago I went to Walgreens when they were having their 50% off ALL Rimmel products [the best kind of sale!] and picked up a few things. The lady at the beauty counter also had coupons for $1 off each Rimmel product. My haul was literally a STEAL! Check out my whole purchase HERE.
So, I have a Rimmel primer already and it worked but it didn't keep my face as matte as I needed during the day. I thought, at 50% off, what can I lose? I also needed to find a foundation that stayed on my face and didn't rub off on my clothes. Well, This 25-hour Lasting Finish foundation is supposed to be transfer resistant. Do ya think it was?
The primer goes on real smooth and absorbs quickly. I only need half a dime sized amount for my face. Any more than that and I'm afraid it might get too greasy...even though it's a matte primer. Then, I use a dime sized amount of foundation for my entire face! Yep. It's a light to medium coverage and it is layerable. Check out my Rimmel face HERE.
So, after a few weeks of using this combination of primer and foundation [along with my other Rimmel face products], I can say that THIS is a dynamic duo! My face does NOT get as oily as it usually does. I don't have to blot my face at all during the day and the foundation does not even transfer when I use tissues during my sneeze-fests!
If you can find the right shade of foundation, I seriously recommend this combo for people who have oily skin, who have issues trying to find a foundation that STICKS, and for people who just need something to throw on their face every day.
Let me know if you do get these. Even at regular prices, I'd still buy these products. They just work! You can find them at Walmart, Walgreens, Target, CVS, and Rite Aid.
