Happy Thanksgiving all!!!!!!! Are you ready to eat ALL DAY LONG? I know I am! My parents and I are making some dishes to take over to my husband's grandmother's house for our Thanksgiving Day feast. I LOVEEEEEE food, can you tell?
Today I have the Zoya Wave Worthy trio to show you. I originally wanted this trio because I am a Redskins fan and I don't have too many Burgundy and Gold polishes. When Zoya had their BOGO Free deal, I HAD to snag these! The colors in this trio are also perfect for the Fall and Thanksgiving, which is why you're seeing this today.
Last year the Redskins played the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and won 38-31. They aren't playing today, but that's ok.
The Team Spirit trios are no longer available like this, but you can still get these polishes for $8 each. I only saved 2 dollars by purchasing the set of three.
Darcy is a creamy yellow polish but, as with all yellows, it was very hard to avoid bald patches. I used three coats to get to full opacity Even though it was a little troublesome, I LOVE this polish.
Sasha has sort of a jelly-like formula, which I love. I expected this to be super thick and creamy which made me afraid of staining. Nope! This is perfect and I shall wear this EVERY Sunday my Redskins play!
Purity is another white polish that is opaque and even in 2 coats. The trick is to use thin coats and to let the first one dry COMPLETELY. I know we're all guilty of adding a 2nd layer sometimes before the 1st one is done drying.
