My Very FIRST Lush Trip....and HAUL!

Hey guys! Today I have a very special post. This is all about my first trip to LUSH! My city just opened 2 locations and I have been WAITING to get my butt in there! I had never ordered anything online before because I wanted to smell and try the products before I purchased them. Boy am I glad I did! This location is inside a mall and the store is actually kinda big!
Here are some pictures of the store and of the lovely Kelsey who helped me [and 3 other LUSH lovers] become more familiar with different LUSH products.
WHAT? You can get a bath at LUSH?! Why, yes you can....well, your arm can...and your face if you don't have makeup on! I got to try the Ocean Salt, Rub Rub Rub, and the Buffy Bar. OH GAWD I FELL IN LOVE! I made a long list of ALL the suggestions you guys have to me! Every time I saw a product in the store from my list I sounded like a lunatic because I just SCREAMED out the product!
Here is the start of the haul. I will link back to all the products in case you want to go get it for yourself. Although, I'm sure if you're a LUSH lover already, you know exactly where to find it!
So first is Ocean Salt. This is a face and body scrub that is AH-MAY-ZING! So many of you recommended this to me so of course I had to try it. Once my arm was gently exfoliated with this stuff, that was it. I was done for. It's gentle enough to use on your face, but because it IS a scrub, it's recommended to only be used a couple of times a week. I plan to use this more for my body than my face, but I still may use it as a facial scrub every once in a while.
So, originally I was told that the Cosmetic Catastrophe mask was one to go for. They were out but they did have this, Cosmetic Warrior. This is for faces that break out, have blackheads, and have blemishes. DING DING DING! My face is a winner! I have not used this yet but I will create a video review for it once I do.
A must-have for any nail/beauty lover/blogger. The INFAMOUS Lemony Flutter. For anyone that says this is too expensive...let me just say this. You won't be restocking this as often as you think. You honestly need a quarter of a dime sized amount of each hand and even that's a bit much. This stuff is SO moisturizing that it seriously doesn't take much. I'm happy I got this. It isn't as lemony as I though, but once you get down into the product, it really starts to release that lemony scent. The surface scent is completely different. Try it in the store to see for yourself!
Grease Lightening is something that I have been needing for a while. This, like all the products here, was a recommendation. Let me tell you...after just 2 applications, this stuff WORKS! You don't need much so this bottle will last your FOREVER! I had a HUGE pimple the day I went in the store. After 2 applications [morning and night], this monster had gone down significantly! Kelsey recommended I moisturize after because it DOES dry you out. I applied my moisturizer and it didn't affect the Grease Lightening in action.
The Charity Pot comes in 2 sizes. I got the smaller size with this cute little fox guy on the lid. LUSH has donated to hundreds of different charities and 100% of the price of these Charity Pots goes towards these charities. It's an amazing cause - how could I have said no to this little face?
The Buffy Bar was also one that some of you recommended to me. So, in the store, I got a chance to use this right after my Ocean Salt scrub. OH MYYYYYY!!!!!! This thing is AMAZING!!!! It smells so fresh and it leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft! I got the smaller size in the tin to keep it safe from melting or getting moldy. When I got home, I cut this in quarters. Only 1 quarter makes it to the shower area at a time. This way, I don't have to worry about dropping it, wasting it, or worrying about such a big bar in the shower.
Finally, The Enchanter bath bomb. This one was recommended to me by Hello Miss Niki. She ALWAYS has LUSH posts up on her Fb age so it was only natural to ask her what she loves! I haven't used this yet but will update you when I do!
So, what do you think? Did I make good choices? What would you recommend for later? I did get a sample of the Mint Julip lip scrub and the Ultrabland.
I hope you enjoyed my first LUSH experience as much as I did! Be sure to check out the video below!

Dragon's Egg bath bomb! It's AMAZING...I buy one every time. And the Comforter bubble bar, it smells so good and lasts forever.
ReplyDeleteThey used to have a Christmas bubble bar called The Gingerbread house that I love love loved...but they discontinued it.
