Looky what I did! I've been afraid to try this forever but it really is easier than it looks.

Of course I chose a green and blue because....well, my fave color is blue, hubby's fave color is green, and a friend said "because blue."

I think it's also important to choose colors that are pretty much opaque in one stroke. The only one that actually coats in one stroke is Blue Bells Ring, but I tried to make do with what I had.

I have some silvers that DO cover in one coat, but I wanted to keep this a "one-brand" mani.

Onto the pictures! I tried to take pics at angles where you couldn't see the green through the silver. Out of the light, everything looks really opaque. In bright light, you can sorta see the green peeking through, but it's not a big deal.

Let me know what you think of my first try! What other colors would you suggest if I did this again??
