Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you have lots of food, fun, and family planned for today!

This mani was definitely a challenge. The original idea was to do leaves in brown over red, orange, and yellow. After doing several trial-and-errors, I basically gave up. I told myself I'd have to come up with something better.

Since it IS Thanksgiving, I decided to do a turkey. This couldn't be a normal looking turkey mani either. It had to be something a little bit different.

I ended up doing a turkey across 3 fingers. The feathers were originally going to be hand painted on and then I had an idea. I'd been wanting to do the fan brush technique for a while and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. My turkey's feathers were fanned on.

The lighting on these pictures turned out poor, but you get the general idea.
