Friday Fan Pick: Shoni
Friday, November 16, 2012
It's FRIDAY!!!! There are many times where I have no idea what to do on my nails. Thankfully, I have friends and fans that give me ideas.
Today at lunch, I asked my good friend Shoni [go check out her music page] to give me 2 or 3 colors for another mani. She told me red, purple, and gold. As soon as she said that, I knew what I wanted to do.
For this mani, I used Color Club Red-ical Gypsy, ULTA Devious, and Orly Luxe. I used a sponging technique and then stamped over it with Shany plate SH20.
*be careful sponging red. it likes to stain.*
I hope you enjoy this. For next Friday's Fan Pick, comment here or on my Facebook page.

Pretty! What is your sponging technique?
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel! So, I actually used kitchen sponges from the Dollar Tree. I cut them into little squares, about 6 from each sponge. Then I paint on whatever colors I want to use and roll it onto my finger. It takes between 2-3 separate rolls to get the opacity I like.
DeleteOnce again you show me that I need more stamping plates. I like this patten.
ReplyDeleteLOL, yes! Also, how come your comment posted like a million times? =P
